Each year Vermont Care Partners organizes Direct Support Professionals Day at the Vermont State house in Montpelier. This year the event took place on Wednesday, September 9th.
Many of Counseling Service of Addison County’s Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) spent their day in Montpelier for a celebration on the Vermont Statehouse Lawn. We sent them off in style with colorful CSAC shirts and a premier coach bus so they could relax and enjoy the day!
Each day DSPs show up with compassion, creativity and dedication to support individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities live their fullest most independent lives.
