Counseling Service of Addison County was proud to join with the Middlebury Police Department and Addison County Special Olympic Athletes in the annual Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics on Thursday June 4th!
This event is a kick off for the Special Olympics Vermont Summer Games which took place the weekend of June 6th. It also raises funds and awareness for Special Olympics, with runs taking place at locations all over Vermont. Officers from participating law enforcement organizations escort the “Flame of Hope” through various Vermont Communities, culminating in a Final Leg celebration at the Summer Games Opening Ceremonies.
